The "Ideal Man" vs Reality

Last week I was talking to one of my close friends about the "ideal" man. Would you want to be with someone who has the $$$$$$$ or just someone you could connect with on a deep level that most likely can only support himself or not even...?

So really..
Money or love?

For now, yeah I'd definitely choose love, but 5 years down the line? I have to have both. Well, not in a sense that he has to be super rich or anything, just someone that could make me feel secure everyday of my life. By security I mean

• Having someone who will stick by me no matter what happens
• Knowing that I'll never go broke

SO CAN I PLEASE JUST HAVE BOTH??? :D

I honestly would not want to be with someone I love AND broke ok haha. I don't think there is anyone out there that wants that! But iono... I can't imagine living with someone I wasn't into... could you???

Life isn't a Korean drama where the guy is rich, attractive, AND can connect with you on a deep level ok. That totally does not exist. And if it does...well sorry, I still don't believe that exist HAHA.

PROS with a marrying rich dude:

1. You'll always be well dressed
2. You get to travel around a lot
3. You can eat anything you want. GREAT FOOD EVERYDAY...
4. You can buy everything you want
5. You can live comfortably with no worries (except if he cheats on you)

CONS with a marrying rich dude:

1. marrying for money is definitely a lonely road down the line
2. you just cannot connect emotionally
3. you'll actually feel super empty inside

PROS with marrying for love that doesn't have money to support you:

1. You can connect with that him emotionally
2. You'd be emotionally happy (unless he cheats on you or together you're broke)
3. He's mostly your best friend
4. He would work with you through every situation as a team member
5. He would actually support you

CONS with marrying for love that doesn't have money to support you:

1. You can't eat/buy everything you want
2. You most likely will not travel LOL (having your parents sponsor you will be faster)
3. I can only imagine the possibilities of arguments over money. Finance is one of the top ten reasons people divorce. If you keep fighting, then your relationship just goes downhill and love won't be keeping you guys together :(

I can't believe I'm sharing my thoughts on this hahaha
but anyway, enough about that.

Here is a long ass list of my standards...

The "Ideal Man"  can't a girl have dreams that actually come true once in a while? x]

• Definitely not broke LOL, but he doesn't need to have all the money in the world either. 
• A man who would spend quality time with me. It's not quality time just because you're there, but it's quality time when you actually do something together
• someone spontaneous ! I absolutely hate the same routine everyday. It's really boring
• A man who communicates. Talk about anything and everything
• A man making plans. Who doesn't find it attractive when a man makes plans??? Doesn't have to be a big plan you know.
• A man who makes delicious meals weekly and plays the cello for me with that nice vibrato(AKA LUKA SULIC) xD
• A man who loves the same things as I do.
• A man who does not make me wait. ALWAYS ON TIME. I absolutely hate waiting ok... Patience is a virtue...MY ASS! I'm constantly in a rush and stressed. Don't have time for that!
• A man who is patient with me, patient in general, understands me, can really take my crap LOL
• A man who doesn't stress because I am ALWAYS STRESSED. Not good to have 2 stressed people you know..
• Logical
• Just someone who is really sweet to me ok, but not like talk to me using "baby, sweetie, etc" bleh gross! 
• Has to be tall. Tall enough so when I wear 4-5 inch heels, he is still taller than me.
• He can't be so skinny that I feel fat walking in public with him. It's embarrassing >.<
• He has to be funny and it is definitely ok if his jokes are pretty cold (erm its a term people who speak Mandarin use)

Ok, now to REALITY
I don't know why, but it is super difficult for me to talk to my boyfriend about why I'm upset. I don't get it, but I'm trying. It's just I have this long ass list for the ideal man and I keep expecting that he would do all those things. But really, to be happy, I need to be able to speak what's on my mind or else I'll never be happy. It'll always be my fault I feel a certain way because I'm the only one feeling that way. Does that make sense? But I just wish he would plan something sometimes and not just sit around at home like yesterday. Yeah...yesterday I got pretty upset. He works Monday through Saturday, but Saturday he had a wedding gig so I didn't get to spend time with him until later the evening. But even till later in the evening, after we went to a professor's recital, we just stayed home and watched a movie. Not saying that I don't like that, but we do that almost every day. Sunday when he had his time off, he just slept in all the way till like 2... I wanted Ramen a lot, but ramen places always close at 2:30 latest. btw: I get in a really bad mood when I'm hungry. So by the time he is up and ready to go, guess what...ramen places are closed. The only ramen place that was opened was at Mitsuwa CASH ONLY and he didn't want to spend cash. Ok now I was like extremely pissed off cohz I was SUPER HUNGRY...AND WAITING... He asked me what I wanted to eat so I gave a list of what I wanna eat as an alternative. Sushi boy was not one of them...but we ended up there -__- ok we get home, again the tv turns on, and after we finish eating, he goes straight to bed. well it's Sunday and I finally get to spend time with you...

????????????

He is just waaaay to comfortable (I think) or  else he wouldn't act this way. It's a good and bad thing you know! I swear, if I didn't ask him to get his lazy ass out of the house yesterday, he would've just slept through the entire day or just checked on his current Amiibo addiction updates. But I'm really glad he got up to go explore the other side of Quail Hill with me and the boys.

Damn those skinny legs. I want...

Wow this is the longest post I've ever done... what a waste of my time LOL. I should be working on my paper due this week...

Last week has been the most stressful week of my life ! It wouldn't have been so bad if I had confidence, but clearly I have like 0 self-confidence haha. sucks...but I'm glad my recital is over! :)  my lovely friends gave me flowers!

It's really sad my boyfriend is allergic to like trees, grass, flowers, etc but I'm glad I still get to keep the flowers in the house... he's just sneezing and sniffing like crazy... Instead of flowers, he bought salmon and made roses out of it! he knows I love food ;D and also a candy rose :)

anyway my mom came to visit me and I was extremely happy because she made a ton of food and also brought me goodies from Taiwan! :D I love and miss Taiwan so much.. sigh.

On Thursday there was a mini food truck festival at Quail Meadow! We decided to go and it was definitely....real mini lol. There were only two food trucks haha. But it was amazingly delicious!!!

 It's pretty pricey for this Spicy Tuna Bowl, but it was sooooo fresh tasting and delicious!! and the han guo person working in this van was super nice :D

Terrible Drivers

Never thought I would actually post a rant on here, but I am truly pissed off today so here goes...
 oh yeah, and this is why I road rage like crazy.
   please excuse me for my vulgar language.

This morning I was going to school and was almost hit by a car on my left. This stupid driver was driving into my lane. Sad thing is, HE WASN'T EVEN USING HIS PHONE OR MULTITASKING IN ANY WAY. Clearly, he sucks at driving. I had to honk the shit out of him in order for him to realize he was driving in the middle of two lanes and that his car was like an inch away from mine. Also, this reminded me of this person who was reading a book while driving a week or two ago. He ALSO was driving in the middle of two lanes. WTF.

Okay now I am on my way to the Spectrum from school and GUESS WHAT??? I'm on the right lane once again and during the intersection, this STUPID STUPID STUPID driver decides to BUTT INTO MY LANE WITHOUT FLASHING THE RIGHT LIGHT SIGNAL. WHY DO YOU INSIST ON COMING INTO THE RIGHT LANE???? ITS NOT LIKE THERE IS A RIGHT TURN FOR YOU ANYTIME SOON. AND THERE ARE NO FUCKING CARS IN FRONT OF YOU IN THE LEFT LANE EITHER. I swear I almost hit that fucking stupid driver's car since there was only like 5 feet of space between me and the car in front when he started butting in. Again, I honked the shit out of that driver.

The same DAMN thing happens when I exited Irvine Center Drive on the off ramp!!

Hi assholes who are turning left and trying to make an immediate right turn after that !
STAY ON THE RIGHT OF THE LEFT TWO FUCKING LANES IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN IMMEDIATELY.  D:< DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW TO DRIVE? WHATS UP WITH ALL THESE PEOPLE TRYING TO BUTT INTO THE LANE THAT I AM ON AND WHYYY IN FRONT OF ME??? THERE IS CLEARLY NO ROOM FOR YOU.    -__- 

Okay so I delivered my boyfriend lunch today and this dickface honked at this lady who was already halfway backed out. That pissed me off even more!!! WHAT A DICK!!! What was worse was that after she backed out, he drove up to her and glared/yelled at her. Okay the what the FUCK did she do wrong??? that dickhead does not deserve a car.

I'm sorry. I'm super mad right now.
Here is a list of things that piss me off on the road:

1. Drivers who drive on the fast lane that are going 50MPH or slower. Stay out of the fast lane damnit.
2. Drivers who leave huge ass gaps in-between their own car and the car in the front that cause traffic. I mean like HUGE HUGE GAPS. Like you can probably fit 7 cars in that gap.
3. Drivers who keep braking to cause traffic.
4. Drivers who run the on ramp red lights.
5. Drivers who zoom past stop signs
6. Drivers who can't tell that they are clearly 4th in line to go at the stop sign and decides to go first.
7. Drivers who don't understand the right of way.
8. Drivers who refuse to turn right on the red lights that allow you to turn.
9. Drivers who decide to brake when the lights turn yellow WHEN THEY ARE IN AN INTERSECTION. that one is just like what the fuck ok.
10. Drivers who do not wait for other drivers who are already half-way backed out of the parking spot. Can you just please wait until they get out? Do you HAVE to zoom past them? jeez
11. Drivers who hit and run
12. Drivers who completely stop their car when they are merging.  -__-???
13. The amount of people who do not know how to drive once it starts raining. LOL
14. Drivers who don't let pedestrians cross the road.
15. Drivers who cut me off
16. Drivers who don't know how the roundabout works
17. Drivers who decide to get into a different lane, but then will sit there with their blinker lights on and hold up the traffic until someone lets them over.

Lastly, if you love driving under the speed limit,  STAY OUT OF MY WAY.

Tried out the new place in Irvine. Its really good considering the price. Most people complain about the prices of the food and the amount they give, but we live in Irvine -__- dummy if you think it's expensive, then don't live here and don't come here.

Had to get my hair bleached 3 times and guess what..its still not near white. My hair didn't break off that much because my hair is extremely thick... I know thats probably a good thing to most people, but I hate it... I also have WAY TOO MUCH HAIR :( But getting my hair to platinum blonde is a process and it doesn't happen over night. The pink isn't the color I want yet... but I hope it fades soon to get there!
