OC Trolley

School has started again, and I figured I would have less time to post pictures so I think I should just do it all now lol.

Spent my afternoon hanging out with my boyfriend's mom at OC TROLLEY!~  :) It was definitely a lot of fun. Never actually been on a trolley that kept pouring you wine and giving you samples of food. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but if you love wine, then this is your place to be. Oh and btw, you must schedule/book a reservation to be on the trolley.

I hardly ever like salad...but when I do, it must've been REAL good.
Of course, it's the asian tasting chicken salad

Second best thing next to sushi, ITALIAN FOOD.
Pesto Penne mmm~
When I come back, I'm definitely going to Francoli's Gourmet Restaurant
I actually really liked this taco. Just get rid of the cilantro and I can eat it for days
Zito's Garlic Butter Knots
The parmesan sprinkled on top just made it SO MUCH MORE DELICIOUS

My 21st Birthday!~

Meant to post this on the 25th but just didn't have the time...or actually I was being real lazy :)

TUESDAY,  MARCH 24, 2015

Ok like seriously it was spring break and I wanted to sleep in. SERIOUSLY SLEEP IN... but, my boyfriend (I'm calling him Gingario from now on. Inside joke) just had to wake me up around 8:30ish AM. So I get up and the first thing I see is this

Ron Swanson's face
Yes, Ron Swanson's face.  -___- Like in my head I was just WTF you wake me up to show me his face. Thank you...what a pleasant sight. But then I looked over and saw that he made me breakfast!
Explains why he wanted to buy a quail egg the night before.
Anyway, back to the Ron Swanson face, it was actually my first clue towards this scavenger hunt. If you've watched Parks and Recreation, you'd understand that Ron LOVES scavenger hunts. And that is basically what I did all morning while Gingario was a work.

The scavenger hunt required my computer and required me to search the apartment. The code is inputted onto this website Gingario created :D It was really cool ^_^
So this is what the website looked like! Love that crown :D

Each clue had a little stationary gift attached to it as well :)

After finding out the last clue, I knew what we were going to do for the rest of the day :D
DISNEYLAND !

But before that, I had to go to the garage. I really thought he was coming home from work at the time I was going to the garage, but I guess not! His car was in the garage but not him...lol and then a minion we had stored in the garage was hanging onto his keys which was attached to the trunk so I knew I had to open that. Shouldn't have played Resident Evil the night before ok...I did not want to open the trunk and have something pop out at me. Thankfully, it was a HELLO KITTY BALLOON :) and my awesome lunch! Salmon bowl from Orange Roll and Sushi ^__^b
excuse me for the phones crappy front camera

After we had lunch we headed out to DISNEYLAND :D

I only took photos of the new Olaf place (Olaf's Frozen Fun) I've never been to. I apologize in advance for my phones terrible camera in the dark.

Blue slush!!!

Later in the day we got hungry and smelled pasta near the Goofy ride and just couldn't control ourselves.

and I was definitely not leaving the park unless I fulfilled the tradition:
Cream cheese filled pretzel yummm

Okay so for dinner...well we had Honda-ya which is always a favorite of mine, but I honestly hardly remember much... I ordered mixed tempura, garlic pork belly, udon, and my first alcoholic drink :D

and I was gone.

"California-inspired Italian kitchen and wine shop"
Came here to celebrate my birthday early with my boyfriend's family. Our server was awesome!!! He was super cool and always made sure we enjoyed everything. The way he talked reminded me of my friend from school and I need to remind myself to ask him if he has a brother lol.
For the appetizer, we got the grilled octopus with ceci bean + fingerling citrus green + dehydrated tomato. I swear it's the best octopus I've ever had! It was so tender and the sauce was so delicious (lemony) we had to save the plate to dip with the side bread they gave us for free.

We all shared this pancetta with brussel prout leaf + fontina + red onion + garlic + chili. Best pizza ever! I get it every time. It's a must eat! ^_^

We decided that family style was the best option for all four of us so we picked the short ri pappardelle! It had cremini mushroom + carrot + parmigiano. SOOO DELICIOUS!!! Tasted exactly like beef noodle soup except Italian style! I am so coming back for more of this next time along with the Linguini with Clams I didn't have today.

This is the papardelle up close! The mushrooms were sooo good :D I'm not a vegetable person, so I gave the carrots to my boyfriend hehe.

Sorbet sampler for dessert!
and of course, my free birthday treat on the house! It was Salted Caramel with graham and butter on the top. The salted caramel was really good and went well with the butter!

1st Day of Spring Break Adventure!

I actually accomplished a lot today for some reason. I originally planned to sleep in, but I just couldn't. I went to JoAnn's and Costco today with my friend from school. I bought Premo clay so I can start making clay charms! I love arts and crafts ^_^

I needed to buy food for the next 3 weeks(hopefully it'll last that long) and my friend decided to go on a juice cleanse with her boyfriend and they needed a lot of lemons. I hope that works out for her LOL. I felt terrible because I was trying all the yummy samples at Costco in front of her face and she was starting her first day of juice cleanse. Juice cleanse...is probably something that will never happen in my life...It'll only last...well, I wouldn't even start!

Was eagerly waiting for my boyfriend to come home so we could go to Target and get

MARIO PARTY 10

I swear that Shopkick rewards helped us out a TON.
looool saved $42 bucks on a $60 game with Amiibo!

Okay, but before Target, we needed to Shopkick at Hallmark to get some remaining kicks. And then...here is where I knew I was going to lose all my money LOL We walked in and OMGGGG ITTY BITTYS WERE EVERYWHERE AND THEY WERE SOOOO ADORABLE. I just had to get it (especially Flash)!!! Too bad today wasn't the day I'd spend money on it because my main priority was Mario Party 10. But, next time I'm back at Hallmark, I will buy EVERY SINGLE ITTY BITTY IN THAT STORE. Sorry, but I took a bunch of photos of them to make up for what I couldn't purchase.
THEIR EARSSSS SO CUTE

So adorable. Time to start saving money...
