Few weeks before, I decided to go to Seattle as a weekend vacation getaway and it actually was perfect after midterms week! I had a lot of fun even though it was only for like 2 days.
First appetizer/meal in Seattle was at a place named
The Brooklyn Seafood, Steak & Oyster House
 |
Fresh Shucker-Selected Oyster on the Half Shell $1.75 each (HH Price) Came with 3 different dipping sauce: Cocktail, middle one idk, and a sour-ish sauce. [I personally liked the cocktail sauce better than the rest. The oysters were really good, extremely fresh!]
Brie and Proscuitto $6
[Let's just talk about that BRIE. IT WAS SO SOFT AND JUST MELTED IN MY MOUTH. I've tried a good amount of brie in my life, but this one was definitely the softest. Delicious.]
Moroccan Chicken Kabob $5
[This dish.. was alright...nothing too special about it. The chicken was a little dry for me I personally liked dipping the chicken in the steak bites sauce.]
Blue Cheese Steak Bites $6
[These little bites were quite yummy. The sauce went with the tender steak bites very well.]
Yes, I do eat a lot for an appetizer, but I DID share it with someone else. After eating here at Brooklyn's we decided to go check out City Target! WE LOVEEEEE TARGET. Target is the best :D But anyway, it was 3 STORIES!!! Waaay cool B) After we left Target, we went to that huge ferris wheel near the Fish Market. It was really nice since I got to see the city lights at night while riding in that ferris wheel.

After all that fun exploring the area, we got real hungry again and decided to GET SOME SUSHI :D [my favorite]
Second meal of the night!
Umi Sake House - the wait was a bit long
Complimentary Edamame
[It's not bad. I wouldn't say it was my favorite since I've had better Edamame. This one just wasn't as lush as the other ones I've had.]
Agedashi Tofu $7
[I was very very pleased with this dish for $7. The tofu were sliced in thick and huge cubes! The sauce was on the lighter-side than I am usually used to, but it was still yummy!]

 |
Sashimi Sampler $22
Top: Sockeye Salmon
Bottom: New Zealand King Salmon
Right: White Salmon
[I recommend the white salmon. Best salmon I've ever had in my life! It is extremely soft and it definitely melts in your mouth] |
 |
Nabeyaki Udon $17 Shrimp tempura on top of the bedded spinach Underneath the spinach: Noodle, shrimp, clam, scallops, fishcake, crab, and chicken [This is the best Nabeyaki Udon I've ever had in my life. The display was not that appealing, but OMG THE TASTE OF THAT SOUP!!! Definitely gave me that exquisite mouth feel.] |
fyi: all pics are taken from my phone, so if it doesn't look clear, its not my fault >.< I'm not a photographer!
